Jordan retro 9 “Johnny Kilroy”.
The first shoe release after Jordan’s first retirement. The “who is Johnny Kilroy” campaign was very smart. And for me, this is the best colourway of the Jordan 9.
Nike Air Max CB34.
Charles Barkleys signature shoe. My example represents the Phoenix suns with it’s purple swooshes.
Jordan Q Flight “Tar Heels”.
Great ball shoe. Looks fantastic in the baby blue of the university of North Carolina Tar Heels too.
Jordan “Son of Mars” “bred”.
Another composite, to follow on from the Spiz’ike. Made from different elements of the III, IV, V, VI & XX. That Velcro strap really holds your foot in place too!
Jordan retro 12 “obsidian”.
Just straight up love for these kicks. I even play in them on occasion.
Jordan CP3 VI.
As far a ball shoes go, my preference these days is for low cuts. And these are fantastic. They’re the only shoes from this season that I even considered getting, and they are fantastic. Fantastically cushioned, your foot kind of sinks into it, much like the LeBron 10, although I find this to be a better shoe all round.
The first basketball shoes I ever had were the original Pumps (in black & orange). I picked these reissues up about 3 years ago, and while they’re well worn now, they still look great on my feet, and are quite comfy. I wouldn’t play in them though!
Nike LeBron Ambassador 2. A genuinely good shoe to ball in.
Jordan “Spiz’ike” “Easter”.
These are interesting. A composite sneaker, made from parts of the Jordan III, IV, V, VI, IX & XX. All the shoes promoted by Spike Lee’s character, Mars Blackmon.
Jordan 6 “Olympics”. I realise that these pics are stock photos, but they just display them better than I ever could.
I always wanted a pair of 6s, ever since I first saw Jordan play in them, back in 1991. And now I have them.
